Andino acquires 100% of the shares of Cosmos Agencia Marítima.
Andino Investment Holding S.A.A. (Andino) has entered into an agreement with DP World Peru S.R.L. and DP World Logistics S.R.L. (DP) to acquire 100% of the shares of the company Cosmos Agencia Marítima SAC (Cosmos). Cosmos is a company dedicated to maritime and port services, as well as oil and gas.
"With the acquisition of Cosmos, the group strengthens its activities in the maritime logistics and port operations sector, consolidating its position as a leader in the Peruvian logistics industry. This acquisition will enable our group to expand our range of comprehensive maritime, land, and air logistics solutions for foreign trade companies," stated Carlos Vargas Loret de Mola, CEO of Andino.
"Andino continues to invest in the long-term development of our country," he added.
Cosmos is a Peruvian company with nearly 50 years of experience in the maritime-port sector, with operations in the main ports along the Peruvian coast and in the jungle. Its activities include maritime agency and stevedoring services for maritime, port, and logistics operations, with the aim of providing comprehensive solutions in the maritime, river, and port domains.
Andino is a Peruvian group with over 49 years of experience, whose primary goal is to manage leading companies that develop and operate airport infrastructure and services, logistics real estate, and financial logistics.
